Is tip included?

How long will make-up/hair take? Will you bring additional artists/stylists? Does that cost extra?

When contracting with Charlotte: We allot 120 minutes for the bride’s make-up and 60-75 minutes for all other adult clients. Charlotte typically only takes the bride and 1 other adult client, time permitting, with Team CEFA Associate Artists handling all other adult clients at 45-60 minutes/per person, Junior Bridesmaids at 30 minutes/per person and Flower Girls at 15 minutes/per person.

When contracting with one of of our Lead Artists: We allot 60-75 minutes for the bride’s make-up, with Team CEFA Associate Artists handling all other adult clients at 45-60 minutes/per person, Junior Bridesmaids at 30 minutes/per person and Flower Girls at 15 minutes/per person.

When contracting with Team CEFA for hair services, we allot 45-90 minutes for the bride, 30-45 minutes for all other clients. (Time may be added if client has scheduled hair setting before styling and/or is adding clip-in hair extensions as provided by the client.)

Upon contacting, we create a custom schedule based on the number of clients in the party and time variables. Using this information we will determine the appropriate number of artists and stylists for each event. The bride may elect to add artists/stylists (their respective schedules permitting) for an additional fee of $150 per artist/stylist + any applicable round trip travel fees, valet parking fees, etc.

Am I responsible if someone in my bridal party backs out at the last minute?

Yes. Per the contract, clients have to confirm the amount of people receiving services 6 months before the date of the event. If there are any changes to that number 90 days or less to the day of the wedding/event, the client is still responsible for full payment.

Kindly note: Exceptions will not be made, but substitutions are always welcome.

What if someone decides on the day of the event they would also like their make-up and/or hair done?

Kindly note: We are unable to accommodate day-of additions.

Do you offer airbrush make-up?

At C.E. Facial Artistry, LLC our goal is to create the best look for each skin type and texture. We feel this is best achieved through traditional make-up, which allows us to hand-paint and customize, therefore we do not offer airbrush make-up.

How should I prepare for my hair or make-up appointment?

Please refer to the Pre-Trial Prep Instructions you received upon booking.

I have pictures of the hair or make-up I want! Can you recreate this exact look?

It's a great idea to bring pictures, though we may not be able to recreate the exact look. Our approach is to use these pictures as inspiration and create a look best suited to your features, hair and skin tone/type.

Do you have any tips for touch-ups throughout the day and night?

C.E. Facial Artistry is proud to offer our very own exclusive line of Waterproof Lip Liners ($15/each), as well as Luxury Matte Lipsticks ($25/each).

Products can be purchased individually at trials, on the day of the event or online. Lip products make great bridal party gifts, as well!

Can I hire you for touch-ups throughout the event?

Yes! If our schedule permits, you can hire us for touch-ups for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours at the rate of $150 per hour per artist/stylist. Touch-ups begin one hour after completed day-of services and complementary Last Looks. Touch-up services are not guaranteed and must be agreed upon and scheduled 6+ months in advance of the wedding date.

Kindly note: Additional fees may apply, including, but not limited to, relocation fees, parking fees, etc.

When is my full balance due?

The remaining balance for all other day-of service is due in full 2 weeks before the wedding day, payable via cash, check, credit card (+3.8% processing fee) or Venmo.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. You will be required to submit a completed Credit Card Authorization Form upon contracting, or when scheduling a trial prior to contracting. With your knowledge and consent, C.E. Facial Artistry, LLC can bill your credit card for your trial, deposit, additional fees, balance, etc. Additionally, we will charge the credit card on file for any a la carte charges on the wedding day incurred by the bride and/or any guests receiving services, such as BYO hair extensions and placement or lip product purchases. Kindly note: We do not accept other guests' credit cards on the wedding day. All credit card payments are subject to a 3.8% processing fee.

I'm a make-up artist or hair stylist too, and I'd love to work for C.E. Facial Artistry! Are you hiring?

We're always on the look out for new talent and love to get to know other artists and stylists in the industry.
