Do you provide on-site services?

Yes! We provide entirely on-site services for four of more clients. However, trials are done at Charlotte's in-home studio located in South Philadelphia, PA.

Do you provide services for all skin types and colors?

Absolutely. With Charlotte as a licensed esthetician and our team of licensed professionals, we cater to skin of all types and tones. 

When should I book?

We recommend no less than six, and up to 18 months, in advance.

Is there a minimum required for booking on-site services?

We require a minimum of four full-price adults for on-site services for hair and for make-up. However, if you would like to book with fewer people, it may be possible but you will be charged the full minimum.

How do I book?

All bookings require a completed, signed Contract, Consent Form, Credit Card Authorization Form, Pre-Trial Prep Instructions and paid non-refundable/non-transferable deposit. Deposit and all paperwork is due in full within 5 business days of receipt. Deposit covers cost of bride's trial and day-of service(s).

Will you hold my date?

A date is placed on courtesy hold during the 5-business-day period we account for paperwork processing. Outside of this period, no date is considered held.

When should I book my trial?

If you've chosen to sign a contract with the intent to trial in the future, please email us at cefacialaristry@gmail.com 6 months in advance of your wedding date in order to schedule your trial 2-4 months in advance of your wedding date. Kindly note: We do not guarantee trial availability within 2 months of the wedding date. Trials are offered on weekdays and weekday evenings only and are held in Charlotte's in-home studio in South Philadelphia, PA.

Are there travel fees?

For day-of services, there are no travel fees for clients within a 25-mile round-trip radius of Charlotte's in-home studio.

For clients 26 or more round-trip miles from Charlotte’s in-home studio, please consult the chart below. 

If services are occurring at a hotel, parking/valet fees will also apply per artist/stylist.

Hotel accommodations are requested in certain circumstances. Distances exceeding 126 round-trip are subject to additional travel fees. Travel fees are not inclusive of any parking fees per artist/stylist.

Do you offer discounts?

We do not offer discounts. Please see our price list.

Is tip included?

Tip is not included and is entirely at the client's discretion.

How long will make-up/hair take? Will you bring additional artists/stylists? Does that cost extra?

We allot 45-60 minutes for makeup for bridesmaids/guests and 60-90 minutes for the bride for makeup, artist(s) depending. We allot 30-45 minutes for hair for bridesmaids/guests and 45-60 minutes for the bride for hair, stylist(s) depending. We arrive 15-30 minutes before the scheduled start time for set-up and stay 30 minutes after services are complete for complimentary touch-ups, or Last Looks. Total time, as well as number of artists/stylists depends on number of people receiving services, and the time services need to be complete. Please consult the chart below for a suggested number of artists/stylists per the number in the bridal party, as well as a suggested number of hours required to complete services, including arrival/set-up and touch ups, or Last Looks. If you cannot guarantee the suggested number of minimum hours or want to be ready in less time, we may be able to supply an additional artist or stylist at a rate of $100 per additional artist/stylist, our team’s availability depending. For example, for a wedding party of 8 people, we would provide 2 artists and 1-2 hair stylists, who would complete all services within 5 hours. But if all 8 people had to be ready in 3 hours, for example, the bride could opt to bring on a third artist for an additional $100.

Why does the bride cost more than a bridesmaid or guest?

For several reasons. On the day of services, the bride is allotted more time than a bridesmaid or guest. There is also no up-charge for brides who want  individual lashes. Lastly, Charlotte remains available to brides, as well as their coordinator and/or planner, via email 24/7 and creates a day-of schedule for hair and/or makeup services in order to better help the bride prepare for the wedding day. 

Will you create a schedule?

Absolutely! Upon receipt of completed, signed paperwork and paid non-refundable/non-transferable deposit, Charlotte will create a clear, thorough, color-coded schedule of services that will be emailed to the bride within 5 to 7 business days.

Am I responsible if someone in my bridal party backs out at the last minute?

Yes. Per the contract, clients have to confirm the amount of people receiving services 6 months before the date of the event. If there are any changes to that number 31 days or less to the day of the wedding, the client is still responsible for full payment. 

What if someone decides on the day of the event they would also like their make-up and/or hair done?

We will try our best to accommodate day-of additions, but only after everyone on the original contract and schedule has already received services, and only if the artist and/or stylist is able to accommodate the add-on. 

Do you offer airbrush make-up?

At C.E. Facial Artistry our goal is to create the best look for each skin type and texture. We feel this is best achieved through traditional make-up, which allows us to hand-paint and customize, therefore we do not offer airbrush make-up.

How should I prepare for my hair or make-up appointment?

Please refer to the Pre-Trial Prep Instructions you received upon booking.

I have pictures of the hair or make-up I want! Can you recreate this exact look?

It's a great idea to bring pictures, though we may not be able to recreate the exact look. Our approach is to use these pictures as inspiration and create a look best suited to your features and skin tone/type.

Do you have any tips for touch-ups throughout the day and night?

C.E. Facial Artistry is proud to offer our Very Ready Bridal Lip Bundle for $55 (Lip Liner, Lipstick & Lip Gloss), as well as our Picture Perfect Touch-Up Kit for $75 (Lip Liner, Lipstick, Lip Gloss & Translucent Blotting Powder).

Products can be purchased individually at trials, on the day of the event or online. The bundle and kit make great bridal party gifts, as well!

Can I hire you for touch-ups throughout the event?

Yes! If our schedule permits, you can hire us for touch-ups for a minimum of 2 hours at the rate of $90 per hour per artist/stylist. Touch-ups begin one hour after completed day-of services and complementary Last Looks. Touch-up services are not guaranteed and must be agreed upon and scheduled 6+ months in advance of the wedding date.

When is my full balance due?

The remaining balance for all other day-of service is due in full 2 weeks before the wedding day, payable via cash, check, credit card or Venmo.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. You will be required to submit a completed Credit Card Authorization Form upon contracting, or when scheduling a trial prior to contracting. With your knowledge and consent, C.E. Facial Artistry, LLC can bill your credit card for your trial, deposit, additional fees, balance, etc. Additionally, we will charge the credit card on file for any a la carte charges on the wedding day incurred by the bride and/or any guests receiving services, such as BYO hair extensions and placement or lip product purchases. Kindly note: We do not accept other guests' credit cards on the wedding day. All credit card payments are subject to a 3.8 % processing fee.
